DashCalc is an independent iOS app that scores a delivery job offer against your own pay thresholds and keeps a weekly log of the jobs you accept. This page explains how to get help.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account or an internet connection?
No. DashCalc works fully offline. There are no accounts, no sign-in, and the app makes no network connections at all. Everything stays on your phone.
How does the screenshot auto-fill work?
Take a screenshot of the offer, then open DashCalc (or say "Hey Siri, DashCalc screenshot"). The app reads your most recent photo from the last minute and fills in the pay, distance and item count for you.
It needs Full photo access (Settings → DashCalc → Photos), and the Auto-fill from photo switch turned on in the app's Settings.
It says "No offer found" — why?
The most recent photo wasn't a readable offer. Usually the wrong screen was captured (for example while connected to CarPlay the screenshot can grab the car display), or the image wasn't a delivery offer. Re-screenshot the offer screen on your phone and reopen the app.
Nothing fills in when I open the app.
Check three things: the screenshot was taken in the last minute, DashCalc has Full photo access, and Auto-fill from photo is on in Settings. You can always enter a job by hand instead.
What are the Siri commands?
"Hey Siri, DashCalc" (or "DashCalc job") to evaluate a delivery by voice, "DashCalc red" for a red-card shop order, and "DashCalc screenshot" to bring the app forward so it auto-fills from a screenshot you just took.
How do I log a job and see my history?
Swipe the verdict card to the right to log the current job (swipe left to remove it). Tap the clock icon in the header to open History, where jobs are grouped by week and day with running totals. Swipe a row left to delete it, and use + to add a job or a bonus/adjustment manually.
How do I reset my settings or data?
Delete individual jobs in History, or delete and reinstall the app to clear everything and return it to defaults. All data is stored locally on your device.
Where can I read the privacy policy?
It's published at iclint.github.io/PrivacyPolicies/dashcalc/. In short: nothing leaves your device.
